We'll welcome you with a drink on arrival before you tuck into your choice of lunch - buffet in The Meikle, A La Carte in The Terrace or our Festive Food stalls at Winter Wonderland. Soak up the atmosphere and festive magic before a delicious dinner in The Meikle or The Terrace - the choice is yours.
Christmas Day (Wednesday 25 December 2024)
Enjoy a warm, musical welcome from the Leckie Family, who have been at the heart of Crieff Hydro for five generations. Savour our Christmas lunch with all the trimmings, from 12:30pm - 5:00pm in The Meikle or The Terrace. Later on, enjoy a light dinner in the Drawing Room or a reduced A La Carte menu in The Terrace. Calories don't count today - it's Christmas after all.
Boxing Day (Thursday 26 December 2024)
Enjoy your choice of a buffet lunch in The Meikle, A La Carte in The Terrace or Festive Food stalls at Winter Wonderland and take part in our wide range of festive entertainment. Dinner will be served in The Meikle or The Terrace, it's up to you.
Friday 27 December 2024
Head to The Meikle for a delicious Scottish breakfast and your favourite brew, overlooking the beautiful Strathearn Valley. The perfect end to your Christmas break.
FESTIVE FOOD
All of your meals are included in our Christmas package, allowing you to enjoy every single moment (and bite). From lunch on the day you arrive to breakfast on the day you leave, and that all-important Christmas Day lunch. Make sure to bring stretchy clothing to make room for the festive feasts.
This Christmas, let us take care of the details, from the first sip of your morning coffee to the last bite of your evening dessert. With a choice of three principal restaurants, we have lots of variety on offer from all day fining at The Brasserie to breakfast and dinner in The Meikle, and an Italian menu in Piccolo.
We are busy all year round at Crieff Hydro, so we strongly recommend booking your dining before your Christmas break to ensure you can dine at the times that best suit you.
Just so you know, tables of 10 or more must pre-order dishes.

Winter Wonderland
Winter Wonderland is back for 2024, bigger and better than ever, jam-packed with festive fun. There is so much to experience, where will you start? Visit Santa's Grotto, test your balance on the ice rink, meet Santa's reindeer, have a good laugh at the pantomime, and indulge in some festive food.

The Package
What date is check in?
Your check-in date for hotel stays is Tuesday 24 December 2024.
What date is check out?
Your check-our date is Friday 27 December 2024.
Can I stay a little longer?
Yes of course, our Christmas package is from the 24 December - 27 December, but feel free to stay as long as you like. Just choose the check in and check out date you prefer in the booking engine.
What are the payment options?
At the time of booking, a 20% non-refundable deposit will be taken and the final balance will be due on 31 October 2024. If you were to cancel before the 31 October 2024, you will forfeit your deposit and any additional payments made. Similarly, if you were to cancel on/after this date the full amount for the booking will be forfeited. Any bookings made after 31 October 2024 will be fully pre-paid and non-refundable. All three-night Christmas packages start on 24 December until 27 December 2024.
Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted within the hotel. However, your four-legged friends are welcome to join you for your self-catering Christmas break for a small fee per dog.

What rooms are available?
Undoubtsedly the finest views of Strathearn and wider Perthshire. We have a range of double, twin, family rooms and suites to choose from.
Can I stay in Self-Catering over Christmas?
Yes, we have a package specifically for self-catering accommodation. This includes a four-night stay, free entertainment, access to activities, leisure facilities, and Winter Wonderland.

Can I buy tickets for Winter Wonderland if I am staying for Christmas breaks?

Action Glen will remain open for the duration of the festive season.
