Introduction
We, Crieff Hydro are committed to improving our practices to combat slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chain. We are committed to supporting human rights and fulfilling our responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Organisation's structure
Crieff Hydro Ltd is a group Company that owns and operates 6 hotels and also undertakes management contracts in the hospitality sector. Our trading names our Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels, Freedom Hotels and Strathearn Tree Services and our subsidiary companies are Peebles Hydro Ltd, Freedom Hotels (West) Ltd, Freedom Hotels (Management) Ltd and Highland Adventure Safaris Ltd.
Our supply chains
Crieff Hydro has direct relationships with mainly UK based suppliers offering a wide range of services. Our commitment to supporting human rights and fulfilling our responsibilities under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 extends to the selection of suppliers.
Our policies on slavery and human trafficking
We have appropriate policies in place that underpin our commitment to ensure that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business. We continuously review and update all our policies.
Our Anti-slavery Policy reflects our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chains.
Due diligence processes for slavery and human trafficking
We understand that the following areas give rise to the highest modern slavery risks:
There is a risk that the use of recruitment agencies may lead to the employment of individuals in forced labour situations due to factors such as high recruitment fees.
As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk we seek to understand the actions taken by all suppliers to reduce the risk of trafficking and slavery in their own supply chains.
Training
To ensure a high level of understanding of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains and our business, we require all team members to undertake relevant training.

Occurrences of modern slavery would break the law and breach our company policies Crieff Hydro Ltd is committed to assessing areas of high risk and to the prevention of modern slavery.
